Dear Nature Camp Family,
I know many have already heard this news but want to make sure word gets out to everyone. I must share with you the sad news that Nature Camp is suspending all on-site sessions for the summer of 2020 (youth and adult sessions) in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This is only the second time in Nature Camp’s long history that Camp will not ring with the sounds of laughter, learning, and song. Nature Camp Executive Director, Philip Coulling sent the following heartfelt video to camper families sharing this news. Please watch.

For the same reasons, it seems unlikely that gathering at Camp even into the fall will be possible. Therefore, the Nature Camp Foundation has made the decision to postpone our 2020 Reunion (scheduled for Sept 4-7, 2020) to that same weekend in 2021 (September 3-6, 2021). We hope you will plan to join us then!
The Nature Camp Foundation’s mission is, and will continue to be, to provide financial and service support to assure that Nature Camp can continue its important mission of providing a unique and extraordinary educational experience. The suspension of on-site sessions this summer will create a new set of challenges for Nature Camp. The Nature Camp Foundation is dedicated and ready to take on these challenges in cooperation with Nature Camp, Inc. so that Camp can emerge from these unprecedented times on solid footing and looking toward many more future summers along the banks of Big Mary’s. Nature Camp is going to need our help and we will be reaching out soon to let you know how you can pitch in.
We are grateful to each and every one of you for your continued love and support of a place and a community that has meant so much to so many lives. Be safe. Be well. There is a place for you in the circle.
Nell Fredericksen, President, Nature Camp Foundation
