Marietta Robinson Jones was born December 14, 1955 in Richmond, a daughter of Marietta Barnes Jones of Richmond and the late Wayland H. Jones. Robin enjoyed many summers as a camper and counselor at Nature Camp in Vesuvius, Va. She then married and moved to Little Compton, R.I., where she worked as a commodities broker. Robin returned to Virginia to teach in Lexington and later began a career in the real estate profession. Robin’s interests included history, gardening, land conservation, historic preservation and brightening the lives of many others. She spent the later years of her life entertaining friends and family on her porch overlooking Buffalo Creek. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Stetson Blackwell Eddy of Lexington, Va.; sister, Rebecca Jones Wickham of Richmond; brothers, Wayland D. Jones II of Richmond and Freeman E.
